Today, we are happy to introduce you the new version (3.7) of the Twigmo add-on.
In this release we focused on improvement of the Twigmo Mobile Admin 2 application that was released last month.
- Now the admin application can be used by all store administrators (not only the root one) as well as vendors (that exist in CS-Cart Multi-Vendor software). The application also takes into account limited permissions that can be given to such administrators by the root one. For example, if an additional administrator is not allowed to see orders, they will not see them.
- If a store has several storefronts, the root administrator can switch between them like in the desktop admin panel. If the application is connected to a CS-Cart Multi-Vendor installation, the root administrator can also switch between vendors.
- In order to make the application authentication process more easy, we added the ability to fill in the login fields by scanning a QR code. This QR code is shown on the new Mobile app page of the CS-Cart admin panel (a connected Twigmo 3.7 add-on is required).
This page is available for all administrators and vendors, but the appropriate storefront must be on the Twigmo plan Basic or higher.
Also we’ve redesigned the admin application. We hope you’ll like the new design.
Starting from this moment the previous version of the Twigmo admin 2 application stops working and requires the application upgrade (to version 2.1) as well as the Twigmo add-on upgrade to version 3.7.
Twigmo 3.7 also brings a new minor feature for the mobile storefront: ability to show a product code on the product details page. To display it, enable the Show product code on product details page checkbox on the Twigmo add-on settings page.
If you are a Twigmo 3.0 or above user, you will receive a notification about the available add-on upgrade in your CS-Cart admin panel. You can start the upgrade from the Twigmo add-on settings page; the rest is done automatically.
